When i started painting my nail today i wasn't sure what i was going for so i just experimented with shapes and colours until i was happy on a design, i also had a look on the illustrated nails tumblr for inspiration, they are amazing at nails, you should definitely check them out!
In the end i decided on a pink and blue seaweed / starfish look which you can see on the bigger pictures above. My second favorite was the white blue and red design on the little finger (:
